2005 Metzeler returned with a strong effort to compete in the World Enduro Championship, and the results spoke for themselves: Metzeler won all classes and since then has enjoyed similar victories in numerous national and special races . 2009 Metzeler is again dominating the Championship, consistently delivering podium results for the top points lead in all three Enduro classes.
